Adapt IT, an IT Managed Service Provider headquartered in Cork, has been serving clients for over two decades with a team of 36 staff. Offering a comprehensive suite of IT hardware, software, and support services, Adapt IT help businesses modernise and secure their operations.
Challenge
Before partnering with HCS, Adapt IT grappled with the limitations of a legacy on-premise accounts package. Restricted access to data, closed structures, and absence of upgrade paths along with no capability for integration with internal tools and supplier data limited the performance of the current solution. These challenges not only increased administrative burdens but also compromised data accuracy and hindered timely decision-making.
Solution
In collaboration with HCS, Adapt IT implemented the EasyBill App which runs on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, a cloud-based ERP solution. The transition from the legacy system to Dynamics BC took approximately four months, with regular guidance and support from HCS. Despite data extraction complexities, the cutover process was seamless. The new solution from HCS facilitates smooth monthly billing processes and reduces risk, crucial for business continuity.
